Thanks for doing this update. I have bought from GlassesUSA and even though they are more expensive than the other online vendors, they do produce a quality product. If you can find a coupon code, that brings the price down to near what the others charge.

I only had 2 complaints about them. One was they emailed me a tracking number saying the glasses were shipped, but when I checked the tracking number, they had already arrived in my mailbox. The second was the lenses were covered in fingerprints and I had to use the cleaning cloth to get them clean. Still, they are a well made pair of glasses and the prescription is right on the money.

I recently did have a bad experience with EyeBuyDirect though. I purchased a pair of glasses online that were supposed to have measurements of 50-20-144, the last measurement being important to me because I need longer temples and when I got them, they were 50-18-140. They agreed to give me a refund and I have shipped them back. They also asked me to email them a picture of the measurements on the inside of the frame, which I have done. I’ll keep checking back to see if they were changed on the website.

Other than temple arms that need adjusting, I’ve gotten good glasses from 39dollar glasses, so I’ll probably stick with them and GlassesUSA, or maybe CoastalContacts if I want something designer.

My first experience buying eyeglasses online was with GlassesUSA. The real cheapy eyeglasses were not for me since I was looking for a lasting, good quality pair. I chose to spend a bit more – but in reality, the prices on GlassesUSA are amazing compared to what you would find in any actual store. Plus the quality of the glasses and the customer service throughout the process definitely made them a worthwhile purchase. I would recommend trying them, you won’t regret it!

This is great news to me since I have to wear glasses! I’ve always liked to use glasses as an accessory, especially since it is something that will be on my face everyday. It’s great to see that they are beginning to go back to the unique styles of the 70′s and 80′s. Thanks for the great info!

I ordered from LensWay less than a month ago. Their website was very easy to use and offers a lot of search criteria to narrow down the choices of eyeglass frames: size, shape, color, brand, price, etc. I also found their prices very good! LensWay offered some designer name frames I saw on other retailer sites, but LensWay’s prices where at least $100.00 less! Entering my script and choosing lenses and coatings was also very easy.

I purchased Lucky Brand Maude in Cranberry Brown. Although I have a fairly high script (I usually get high-index 1.67 lenses) I opted to go for the basic lenses LensWay offered at only $9.95. Anti-glare, anti-scratch, and UV protection coatings are included for free. What I wasn’t in love with was the fact I was charged for shipping AND a separate handling/insurance charge, which together was about $10.00. Not a huge deal, but why are those separate?

My glasses came in just under a week from the day I ordered! Crazy fast. They’re beautiful. The lenses are cut very well and are clean, crisp, and scratch free. Since I opted for basic lenses, I was pleasantly surprised the lenses did not stick out of the frame, nor were they heavy. The script is right on, and I can see perfectly out of them.

Also included in the box was a hard-shell case, a soft drawstring case, a microfiber cleaning cloth and metal eyeglass screwdriver/keychain. Hooray for freebies!

Great prices, great selection, fast delivery, nice freebies… I have no negative things to say about LensWay! These are my new favorite glasses! Highly recommend!

Thanks for doing everyone a servie and canning goggles4u. They are thieves and liars. Too many people have gotten hurt. Just go with a real company who doesn’t make screwing people over a part of their business philosophy

I have yet to have an issue with them. I ordered my glasses and I think it took about 6 days to process, then another 3 to ship. I didn’t wait as long as I had before with other online glasses retailers. I’m also overall happy with the quality. I may have gotten pretty lucky. I just ordered another pair for my hubby using IFP95AMC6Q for %15 off
